CAiSE’26 Call for Tutorials<\/strong><\/h2>

CAiSE\u201926 invites proposals for tutorials on advanced topics in the field of Information Systems engineering. Tutorials should aim at offering new insights, knowledge, and skills to professionals, educators, researchers, and students seeking to gain a better understanding either about methods of broad interest in the field, or emergent paradigms that are ripe for practical adoption or that require further research to reach maturity.<\/p>

Proposals emphasizing the special theme of the CAISE\u201926 conference \u201cRethinking Information System Engineering in a continuously changing information system world<\/strong>\u201d are encouraged, but proposals on other new or long-standing topics in information systems engineering are also welcome.<\/p>

Tutorials should be focused on principles, concepts, and methods. Commercial or sales-oriented presentations are not allowed and will not be accepted.<\/p>

Tutorials are intended to provide a pedagogic introduction to or overview of a topic of relevance. Potential presenters should keep in mind that there may be a heterogeneous audience, including novice graduate students, experienced practitioners, and specialized researchers. Tutorial speakers should be prepared to cope with this diversity in the audience.<\/p>

Tutorials will be 90 minutes long and organized in parallel with the technical sessions of the main conference and participants of the conference will have free access to all of them.<\/p>

Selection Criteria<\/span><\/h2><\/div>

The tutorial chairs will review each proposal and select a subset of them based on the following criteria:<\/p>

  1. \u00a0Relevance to the field of IS engineering;<\/li>
  2. \u00a0Anticipated appeal to the conference audience;<\/li>
  3. \u00a0Timeliness and importance for the conference audience;<\/li>
  4. \u00a0Past experience and qualifications of the instructor(s).<\/li><\/ol>

    Submission guidelines<\/h2>

    Tutorial proposals should be submitted to EasyChair using the conference submission site: CAiSE 2026 Tutorials<\/a> and then selecting the \u201cCAiSE 2026 Tutorials\u201d track.<\/p>
